Nautilus Remote

The Nautilus Remote app turns your iPad into a complementary second screen for your Korg Nautilus workstation. It communicates over MIDI (either USB or Bluetooth) and ensures consistency between your iPad and the Nautilus. It allows you to navigate your presets in all modes (Setlist / Combi / Program / Song) and also provides basic editing functionalities.

It acts as a second screen during in-depth editing work or replaces the Nautilus screen in studio / live situations where you need to change presets from a remote position. Browse Nautilus sounds while you're in front of your DAW, switch sounds on stage while playing on a second keyboard, quickly rearrange your setlist backstage on your iPad before the show… there are numerous use-cases where the NautilusRemote comes in handy.

Setlist mode

  • Play

The setlist view is the most reasonable choice on stage, but what if you have a second keyboard sitting on top, blocking the view? In bright sunlight it’s less visible and what if the Nautilus is the sound source in the back while you play a different keyboard? The Nautilus Remote has you covered in setlist mode.

  • Setlist Editor

Once in a while or even each gig the setlist changes. Rearranging the entire list is fun if you can do it in the drag & drop setlist editor. As you can pull slots from different setlist you could keep a huge song repository setlist and just drag in today’s song into the actual set.

  • Sheets

While the Play mode focuses on quick song selection, you might want to concentrate on each song and have your sheets at hand. The sheet view shows either the comment text or an imported .pdf file. As the .pdf files are linked to their slot they are automatically sorted together with your set.

Combi mode

  • Mixer

Direct access to all combi channels and fine volume control with an iPad’s touch precision. But what makes the Nautilus Remote a great complement when it comes to editing is that while you do you in-depth editing on the Nautilus screen you can always have the main mixer at hand on your iPad to solo parts or hear the entire Combi without having to constantly switch screens.

  • Category support

Categories and sub-categories are fully supported in the preset browser. If you want to keep it classic the selection by bank is also included. Both options work for programs and songs as well as for combinations.
